providing multi-year engagement to ensure consistent growth and meet the
Maryland College and Career Readiness Standards for Math and ELA, as
well as the Next Generation Science Standards.

that the learning progression of our program builds upon the previous grade-
level standards and fosters critical thinking skills through analysis.

To successfully implement our program for your families, we follow a
comprehensive approach. We start by identifying your goals for the program
and understanding your demographics. We carefully choose qualified tutors
and provide them with the necessary training. We prioritize equity to ensure
that every student has an equal opportunity to benefit from our program. We
plan a successful launch and continuously monitor the program through
frequent administrative checks. We also measure the impact of our program
through surveys and assessments, and share the results with the team and
other stakeholders.

To guide our high-impact tutoring program, we utilize the National Student
Support Accelerator “Toolkit for Tutoring Programs.” This toolkit is
designed to help practitioners design and implement effective tutoring
programs. We also apply the toolkit's 7 Elements of High-Impact Tutoring to
ensure the success of our Academic Enrichment Program.

Our services go beyond academic support. We offer weekly group activities
and other developmentally appropriate programming that focus on
communication skills, goal setting, relational capacity, and community
service. By providing comprehensive and holistic programming, we aim to
connect BCPS students, expand their knowledge, and equip them with skills
for future goal setting.
